Mid-Level Socio-economics Planner for the Pittsburgh Office


KCI Technologies is seeking a highly-motivated mid-level socio-economics planner for our growing Pittsburgh Office. Duties include:
  • Development of NEPA documents and presentations, community planning studies, transportation and land
       use policy analysis, socio-economic analysis and projections.
  • Land use planning and ordinance development and project review.
  • Preparation for and attendance at public meetings and hearings, including displays, presentations, handouts

    Experience
    2-5 years of community planning, NEPA documentation, transportation planning or related fields.

    Skills
  • Familiarity with Census data and NEPA requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Understanding of linkages between land use, natural resource and transportation policy
  • Ability to learn quickly and strong research skills

    Degrees / Licenses
    B.S. in Urban or Regional Planning, Public Administration or equivalent required, ACIP preferred, NEPA training preferred.
